Did You Know?

Brazilian amethyst is typically found inside vugs, irregularly-shaped, hollow, crystal-lined cavities within volcanic or sedimentary rocks. Some Brazilian vugs are so big you can stand in them! Source:  wikipedia.org.

January:  Garnet-The garnet group of minerals offers gems of every hue, including deep red almandine, fiery red pyrope, orange-yellow spessartine, and rare intense-green varieties of andradite, grossular, and uvarovite. Source:  Gemological Institute of America.
